Town Square with Ernie Manouse is a gathering space for the community to come together and discuss the day's most important and pressing issues.

In the first segment, Ernie is joined by Dr. Kirstin Matthews, Fellow in Science and Technology Policy at Rice University's Baker Institute, to discuss the latest scientific findings around COVID-19.

Ernie is then joined by Louise Radnofsky, sports reporter for The Wall Street Journal, to discuss how Major League Baseball’s handling of the coronavirus teaches us how to navigate the pandemic. Radnofsky co-authored an article titled “MLB’s Coronavirus Tutorial for America.”

Then, Dr. Dietrich von Biedenfeld, a business professor at UH Downtown, joins Ernie for a conversation about how the pandemic’s effect on the arts industry ripples through our economy.
