Grant is once again named to The American honor roll after a goal and assist performance

HOUSTON - After an offensive showcase on Sunday, Jazmin Grant was named to her second American Athletic Conference Honor Roll in as many weeks, the conference announced Monday.

Grant scored a goal and notched an assist in Houston's 4-1 victory over Tulsa on Sunday afternoon. This was the second time in three games that Grant earned both a goal and an assist after doing so against Rice on March 11. The Atascocita, Texas, native now leads The American with nine points and is tied for the conference lead in both goals and assists.

Now up to 17 goals and 11 assists in her Cougars career, Grant holds sole possession of fifth-place in program history across both categories. Her 45 points ties her with Kara Bullinger and Kristen Hogan for third in Houston history.

The conference recognition is the third of the season for Houston with the last two going to Grant and the first going to goalkeeper Salma Ghazal
