Corporations are increasingly becoming political in a very public way. Rice University political analyst Mark Jones says this should be viewed as nothing more than a sales tactic. Both Coke and Delta have come out against Georgia's new election laws. Texas-based American Airlines and Dell Computers have both voiced opposition to bills in the state legislature that also seek to crack down on voter fraud. Jones says big businesses are put in the precarious spot of opposing the Republican party after years of support.
