PCI awards 2021 scholarships

The Powder Coating Institute (PCI), Lakewood Ranch, Fla., has awarded its 2021 scholarships to deserving students who are studying subjects that can lead to a career in powder coating.

The 2021 PCI Scholarship Program awarded $35,000 in total, which includes donations of $5,000 from each corporate donor. Winners of the corporate scholarships are:

• PCI/Axalta Scholarships - Genna Andreae, University of Wisconsin – Platteville; Alessandro Perego, The University of Akron.
• PCI/Gema Scholarship - Ashley Haus, University of St. Thomas.
• PCI/IFS Coatings Scholarship - Joseph Fehrman, University of Cincinnati.
• PCI/Nordson Ken Kreeger Scholarship - Katie Engle, University of Cincinnati.
• PCI/PPG Scholarship - Serena Birnbaum, Case Western Reserve University.

Winners of the PCI general scholarships are:

• Natalie Goddard, University of Oregon, Rice University.
• Adam Mistretta, Clemson University.
• Alexis Blosser, University of Cincinnati.
• Emma Filipkowski, University of Cincinnati.
