Austin – Texas seniors P Ryan Bujcevski and K Cameron Dicker were named to the watch lists for the Ray Guy Award (nation's top punter) and Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award, respectively, on Wednesday.

This will be the third time on the Ray Guy preseason watch list for Bujcevski, who has played in 30 career games and punted 134 times with a 41.5-yard average, including 21 of 50 or more yards and 43 downed inside the 20. Last season, Bujcevski was averaging 43.3 yards per attempt on 39 punts with nine of 50 or more, a long of 60 yards and 15 inside the 20 before his season was cut short due to injury. He also missed time with an injury in 2019, playing in nine games with a 41.7-yard average on 32 punts. He has improved each of his years on the 40 acres after averaging 40.3 yards on 63 attempts as a freshman in 2018. A native of Sydney, Australia, he is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 selection and is the cousin of former Longhorn Michael Dickson, who won the award in 2017.

Dicker has made 47 of his 64 career field goal attempts with 157 made PATs for a total of 298 points, the sixth-most in UT history. He was 15-for-21 on field goals in 2020, and made 50-of-51 PATs, earning second-team All-Big 12 recognition for the second time in his career. He also received second-team All-Big 12 recognition, and honorable mention as Special Teams Player of the Year, as a true freshman in 2018 when he set a UT freshman records with 18 made field goals and 105 points. Dicker is the only player in Texas history to record two walk-off plays during a career, both of which came in 2019. He also booted a 57-yard field goal against Rice on Sept. 14, 2019. It was the longest made kick by a Longhorn since Jeff Ward's 57-yarder at Texas A&M on Nov. 28, 1985. An Austin native, Dicker has additionally handled kickoff duties and stepped in for punting duties during his career and is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree.

The Ray Guy Award watch list was compiled based on last year's semifinalist list, the 2020 all-conference teams, the 2020 All-American teams, the 2021 pre-season all-conference teams and punters on the 2020 watch list.

In mid-November, the Ray Guy Award committee will meet to select 10 semifinalists, who will be announced on November 10. A national body of Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) sports information directors, media representatives and previous Ray Guy Award winners will then vote for three finalists to be announced on November 23. After the finalists are named, the voting body will cast ballots again to select the winner, which will be announced live during The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN on December 9.

The Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award will announce its 20 semifinalists on November 4. From this list, a panel of more than 100 FBS head coaches, SIDs, media members, former Groza finalists, and current NFL kickers selects the top three finalists, announced on November 23, and then the winner, who will be announced during the Home Depot College Football Awards.

The 30th Annual Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award, presented by the Orange Bowl Committee, recognizes the three finalists during a celebration in Palm Beach County, culminating with a gala awards banquet at West Palm Beach's Kravis Center for the Performing Arts on December 6.
