You can use the Assistant to flash the firmware

Ive seen a couple of posts on this subject and thanks to a chap I know I can show you how to use the Assistant to flash the Mini2 firmware

It triggers the update feature, indeed. It showed the firmware version of my drone right away. Didn't try to flash the firmware as I already have the latests installed.
Question is why DJI didn't activate it themself? A lot of people are asking for this.

I think they are trying to push updates OTA as many struggle to connect their quads to PC’s maybe

Thanks for the info!
Now it remains to receive an official answer from DJI to the question: WHY?
PS: Even who doesn't need it now, download the current version, otherwise it will be removed from the site and a new version will be released.
PSS: Probably the same with the simulator
