Cougars, Midshipmen to meet at 6 p.m. CT on ESPNU
HOUSTON – Houston Football's upcoming matchup against Navy on Sept. 25 is set for a 6 p.m. CT kickoff, The American Athletic Conference announced Monday. The game will be televised on ESPNU and can be heard on KPRC 950 AM.
Houston, which faces Grambling on Saturday at TDECU Stadium, improved to 1-1 with a 44-7 win at Rice over the weekend. The Cougars limited the Owls to minus-3 yards in the third quarter and added three interceptions on the day including a pick for a 91-yard touchdown by Alex Hogan as regulation expired.
Navy fell to 0-2 with a 23-3 loss to Air Force over the weekend. The Midshipmen will have a bye this week before traveling to Houston. The Cougars defeated Navy, 37-21, a season ago in Annapolis, Maryland, and are 5-2 all-time against the Midshipmen.
