Cincinnati Bearcats to face Arkansas Razorbacks for first time in football next season

The University of Cincinnati Bearcats and Arkansas Razorbacks are scheduled to meet for the first time in football in September 2022, according to multiple reports Tuesday confirmed by an article on arkansasrazorbacks.com.

The Miami University RedHawks are scheduled to play at Kentucky the same day, Sept. 3, 2022, according to @SECNetwork via Twitter:

FBschedules.com also has the Bearcats welcoming Kennesaw State, facing MU at Paul Brown Stadium and hosting the Indiana Hoosiers next September.

Arkansas has started this season 3-0, with wins against Rice, No. 15 Texas and Georgia Southern. The Razorbacks are scheduled to face No. 7 Texas A&M on Saturday.

Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman was a UC assistant in 1996, coaching offensive tackles and tight ends under Rick Minter. The Razorbacks' record in 2020 - Pittman's first season as head coach - was 3-7.

Bearcats receiver Jordan Jones transferred from Arkansas to U in May 2020.
