"Bully ball."

We first heard that mentioned by Coach Pittman leading up to the season opener. He thought Rice would try to play "Bully ball."

As it turned out, the Hogs were the bullies through the first four weeks of the season. They owned the line of scrimmage in September.

There was nothing in Georgia's 2021 resume that pointed to them playing "Bully ball" on Saturday. Georgia threw it 35 times in their SEC opening win against South Carolina. They also passed for almost 300 yards in their rout of Vanderbilt. A year ago, in their win over the Hogs in Fayetteville, the Dogs threw it 47 times.

Kirby Smart said he decided to go all-in on "Bully ball' minutes after the win over Vandy. He said he challenged a group of men (the offensive line) who have a lot of pride. The Bulldog backs were asked to get a "Georgia five." Five yards of grown man football.

They didn't just beat the Hogs at their own game; they embarrassed them. A proud Hog defense that had played downhill in the first four games was on its heels for four quarters. A much improved offensive line looked overmatched.

It was a three-hour reminder that Georgia is still one of the baddest bullies in college football.

Big picture, I thought Coach Pittman put it best: "it's just one loss to a team in the east."

The Hogs are 4-1 with a real opportunity to play for second place in the SEC West. There was nothing that happened Saturday that says Arkansas cannot finish high in the west standings.

Saturday, there's yet another big game. Two top 20 teams will go at it in Oxford. Think about this brutal six-week run. It features Texas, Texas A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss and Auburn.

Bottom line, you play in this league and you are not Alabama or Georgia, you can count on being embarrassed at least once a season.
