Football flashback: Big 12 makes move, invites TCU on this day in 2011
11 years ago today, the Big 12 Conference invited TCU to join.
The move came after four teams announced plans to leave the conference: Nebraska and Colorado in 2010; Texas A&M and Missouri in 2011.
Later in October 2011, the Big 12 added West Virginia.
The Big 12 continues to make moves 10 years later, with OU and Texas expected to leave soon, and BYU, UCF, Cincinnati and Houston expected to join soon.
