Noble named C-USA Preseason Co-Player of the Year

DENTON — North Texas guard Quincy Noble has been named Conference USA Preseason Co-Player of the Year on Wednesday, as voted on by the league's 14 head coaches.

The preseason recognition comes after a standout sophomore season for the McKinney, Texas native. Noble led the Mean Green in scoring with a 17.8 points per game average. She also ranked fourth on the team in shooting from the floor (42.6%), was second on the team in three point shooting (38.3%), was third on the team in rebounding (4.3 per game), and ranked second in minutes played (33.3 per game).

In addition to the All-Preseason team, Conference USA also announced the Preseason Coaches Poll on Wednesday. North Texas was picked to finish tied for third with Middle Tennessee and UTEP. Charlotte was picked to win the league, receiving six first place votes and 185 points overall.
