DALLAS – Lauren Matthews of WKU, who had 45 kills and a combined .493 hitting percentage in a sweep of Charlotte, UTEP’s Alyssa Sianez, who posted 33 digs in a two-match sweep of North Texas, Rice’s Carly Graham, who had 76 assists in a two-match sweep of UTSA, WKU’s Nadia Dieudonne, who posted 106 assists in a pair of victories over Charlotte, and Myah Conway of Old Dominion, who averaged 3.88 kills in a two-match sweep of Middle Tennessee, earned the 11th and final 2021 Conference USA Volleyball Player of the Week honors, presented by Surf & Turf Golf.
 
Matthews was selected as Offensive Player of the Week, Sianez earned Defensive Player of the Week honors, Dieudonne and Graham were Co-Setters of the Week and Conway was picked as Freshman of the Week.
 
C-USA Offensive Player of the Week – Lauren Matthews, WKU, Sr., Indianapolis, Indiana
Matthews led No. 17 WKU to a weekend sweep at Charlotte including a combined .493 hitting percentage in the two matches against the 49ers. The senior middle hitter from Indianapolis, Indiana averaged 5.63 kills/set for 45 kills across the series' eight sets. She also averaged 1.25 blocks/set and 6.31 points/set. Friday, Matthews delivered 22 kills on 36 attempts for a .472 hitting percentage to go along with five blocks. In Sunday’s finale, she posted 23 kills, a .514 hitting percentage, five blocks and two digs. She now owns four 20-kill matches this season and 11 in her WKU career.
 
C-USA Defensive Player of the Week – Alyssa Sianez, UTEP, So., El Paso, Texas
Sianez led the Miners with 33 digs (5.50/set) in six sets as she helped the Miners sweep a pair of matches against North Texas. Saturday, the sophomore defensive specialist from El Paso, Texas posted 17 digs in a three-set sweep. Sunday, she had 16 digs and a service ace in a three-set sweep of the Mean Green.
 
C-USA Co-Setter of the Week – Carly Graham, Rice, Jr., Spring, Texas
Graham helped the Owls finish a perfect 12-0 in C-USA play with another strong weekend for her fourth C-USA Setter of the Week award. She totaled 76 assists (12.67/set) and 27 digs (4.50/set) over six sets in a pair of sweeps over UTSA. The junior from Spring, Texas tied a season high in assists for a three-set match with 46 (15.3/set) in the Owls three-set sweep Friday to go with 13 digs. Graham then followed that up with another double-double on Saturday, compiling 30 assists and 14 digs, as well as a season-high five blocks. The Owls hit .314 as a team for the weekend, including .407 Friday.
 
C-USA Co-Setter of the Week – Nadia Dieudonne, WKU, 5th, Louisville, Kentucky
Dieudonne earned her seventh C-USA Setter of the Week award of the 2021 season she led No. 17 WKU to a weekend sweep at Charlotte, including a combined .328 hitting percentage. The fifth-year senior from Louisville, Kentucky averaged 13.25 assists/set for 106 total across the series' eight sets. In Friday's victory, she racked up a season-best 55 assists to go with nine digs, four kills, two aces and two blocks. Sunday, she had 51 assists, six digs, three blocks and two kills. A total of 50 percent of her sets became kills by her WKU teammates in the outing. For the weekend, 48 percent of her sets were converted into kills for the Hilltopper offense.
 
C-USA Freshman of the Week – Myah Conway, Old Dominion, Fr., Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania
Conway earned her second Freshman of the Week award after she averaged a team-high 3.88 kills/set, a .371 hitting percentage and 35 points across two matches and eight sets in a pair of victories over Middle Tennessee to finish the season. The rightside hitter from Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania had a match high in kills in both contests with 16 Friday and 15 more Saturday. She hit .414 Friday, and followed that up with a .333 percentage Saturday. Conway also added seven digs (0.88/set) and seven total blocks (0.88/set) against the Blue Raiders.
