Ducks Face Top-25 Tests in Washington

Oregon and No. 22 Washington State, Thursday's opponent, are two of the teams tied for third in the Pac-12 standings.
EUGENE, Ore. – The No. 16 Oregon volleyball team takes its five-match winning streak on the road to the Evergreen State, beginning Thursday against No. 22 Washington State at 6 p.m. The Ducks, winners in six of their last seven matches, enter the match with a 20-6 overall record and an 11-5 mark in Pac-12 play. Oregon and Washington State are in a three-way tie with Utah for third place in the conference.
The Ducks will face 12th-ranked Washington—first in the conference with UCLA—Sunday afternoon.

Last Time Out
Three weeks removed from a straight-set loss at UCLA, the Ducks returned the favor with a sweep of the Bruins (Nov. 14) at Matthew Knight Arena. Led by Brooke Nuneviller and Karson Bacon with 16 and nine kills, respectively, Oregon hit .304 in the match while holding UCLA to a .204 hitting percentage. The win snapped the Bruins' seven-match winning streak.
Middles Put in Work
In Sunday's straight-set win over No. 12 UCLA, middle blockers Karson Bacon and Kiari Robey posted 14 total kills and a .632 combined hitting percentage. Bacon had nine kills (.615) and two blocks against the Bruins while Robey added five kills (.667) and a match-high four blocks.
Club 1K
With her 10th dig in the Ducks' five-set win over USC (Nov. 12), libero Georgia Murphy became the 15th player in program history to reach 1,000 career digs. Her 20 digs against the Trojans marked her sixth match of the season with 20 or more digs. Murphy enters the weekend with 1,020 career digs. She is currently third in the Pac-12 with 4.33 digs per set.
What a Weekend
Returning All-American Brooke Nuneviller averaged 5.13 kills per set while hitting .291 to help Oregon post wins over USC and No. 12 UCLA. She put down 25 kills to go along with 13 digs in the Ducks' five-set win against the Trojans. Nuneviller then recorded 16 kills and 11 digs in a straight-set victory over UCLA. Defensively, she moved into sole possession of third place on the program's career digs (1,601) list.
In the Rankings
After a 2-0 weekend at home, including the team's fifth win over a ranked team, the Ducks moved up a spot to No. 16 in the latest AVCA coaches' poll, and for a second-consecutive week, Oregon checks in at No. 22 in the NCAA RPI.
Leaders of the Pac(k)
Oregon continues to lead the Pac-12 in opponent hitting percentage (.174) and digs per set (15.89 d/s). Individually, Karson Bacon is first in the league and 14th in the NCAA with a .420 hitting percentage. She has 11 outings this season with at least seven kills coupled with a .400 or higher efficiency.
Elite Company
Brooke Nuneviller is one of just three players in the country with a 30-20 (kills-digs) performance and the only one to do so in four sets. She had 31 kills—while hitting .338—and 21 digs in Oregon's four-set win at Rice (Sept. 2) in Houston. Nuneviller is joined on the 30-20 list by Yanlis Feliz (Chicago State) and fellow Pac-12 standout Pia Timmer (Washington State). Nuneviller also enters the week as one of three Power 5 players averaging 3.00 kills per set and 3.00 digs per set.
