The Oregon State Beavers are set to host a long list of prospects this weekend for their game against the Arizona State Sun Devils at Reser Stadium, setting the stage to put a cap on the 2022 recruiting cycle and lay the foundation for the 2023 and 2024 classes.

Here’s a look at the key visitors:

Class of 2022

Official visitors* (*Official visits are paid for by the school)

*3-star linebacker Kord Shaw (Ogden, Utah); Committed to Oregon State – The Beavers went all-in on Shaw before he received much recruiting attention.

He returned the favor with an early commitment.

Shaw is a do-it-all weapon for his high school football team on both sides of the ball, but projects as an off-ball linebacker at the collegiate level.

*3-star JC CB Ryan Cooper (College of San Mateo)Rated the nation’s No. 5 junior college cornerback, Ryan Cooper has offers from Bowling Green, Incarnate Word and Oregon State.

The Beavers appear to be targeting multiple defensive backs to finish the 2022 recruiting class.

Cooper represents a potential depth piece.

*Bralyn Oliver (Louisville transfer) – As a class of 2021 high school prospect, Bralyn Oliver was rated the nation’s No. 43 safety and the No. 550 overall prospect.

He signed with Louisvlle over Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and others.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound defensive back may quickly become a priority target for the Beavers.

*3-star offensive lineman Tyler Knaak (Salt Lake City, Utah) – The 6-foot-7, 310-pound teenager is playing his first season as an offensive lineman.

The experiment has worked out, as he’s added offers from double-digit programs and trimmed his list to Arizona State, Oregon State, USC, Utah and Virginia.

3-star athlete Justius Lowe (Lake Oswego, Oregon) – Lake Oswego High School senior Justius Lowe is a red-hot prospect who has quickly added offers from roughly half the Pac-12 Conference.

The 6-foot-1, 182-pound defensive back is still weighing his options and holds offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, Utah and others.

Class of 2023

4-star quarterback Brayden Dorman (Colorado Springs, Colorado) Rated the nation’s No. 12 quarterback and No. 216 overall prospect, Brayden Dorman is a major priority for the Beavers.

Dorman holds offers from Arizona, Colorado, Iowa State, Wisconsin and several others.

If he were to choose Oregon State, the 6-foot-5, 206-pound signal-caller would be the second highest-rated quarterback pledge in program history, behind only Derek Anderson.

Dorman is a crucial target.

3-star defensive lineman Tristan Davis (Portland, Oregon) – An unknown as a football prospect entering the season, Tristan Davis - a 6-foot-7, 245-pound basketball player - registered three sacks for Wilsonville in Week 1 and immediately became an FBS recruit.

Davis holds an offer from Colorado, but is hearing regularly from Michigan, Oregon, Oregon State and Washington.

3-star cornerback Demarcus Houston (Albany, Oregon) West Albany cornerback Demarcus Houston is the No. 2 prospect in Oregon for the class of 2023.

He holds an offer from Oregon State and has already taken multiple trips to Corvallis.

3-star athlete Trey Leckner (Snohomish, Washington) – Trey Leckner’s film pops and he looks the part of a big-time athlete.

Unsurprisingly, 247Sports recently bumped him up from an unrated prospect to a three-star recruit, acknowledging his big junior performance.

Leckner is high school teammates with Oregon State pledge Cooper Jensen.

3-star safety Christian Pierce (Rancho Cucamonga, California) Rated the nation’s No. 29 safety, Christian Pierce holds offers from Michigan, Nevada, Oregon State, Rice and USC.

Simply put, his stock is skyrocketing and Oregon State is hosting him on a visit at the perfect time.

3-star cornerback Jonathan Landry (Vancouver, Washington) – Jonathan Landry holds offers from Florida Atlantic Utah State and Virginia, and could “pop” over the coming months.

3-star defensive lineman Tevita Pome’e (Layton, Utah) – A 6-3, 315-pound defensive tackle, Tevita Pome’e holds offers from Vanderbilt and Oregon State and would fill a major need for the Beavers.

3-star offensive lineman Misael Sandoval (San Diego, California) Oregon State is clearly seeking size up front, and Sandoval provides it.

The 6-foot-6, 325-pound big man is rated the nation’s No. 57 offensive tackle.

3-star quarterback Sam Leavitt (Beaverton, Oregon) Westview quarterback Sam Leavitt is the top quarterback prospect in Oregon for the class of 2023.

He is rated the nation’s No. 26 quarterback and holds offers from Arizona and Florida State.
