MTSU women's basketball game vs Rice postponed because of snow, rescheduled for Friday

The Rice at Middle Tennessee State women's basketball game scheduled for Thursday evening at Murphy Center has been moved to 1 p.m. Friday because of snow.

The Conference USA matchup will be the third of the season for the Lady Blue Raiders (9-3, 1-1).

The Lady Raiders' C-USA game against North Texas originally scheduled for Saturday at home has been moved to Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

The Lady Raiders, coming off a conference championship and NCAA Tournament berth last season, began the 2021-22 campaign 8-2 before conference play began with an 85-56 win at Texas-San Antonio Dec. 30.

MTSU lost its first conference game two days later, falling 56-55 at Texas-El Paso.

That began a stretch of 18 consecutive conference games to close out the regular season.

MTSU's men are scheduled to play two conference games in Texas over the next three days, playing at Rice Thursday (7 p,m.) and at North Texas on Saturday (5 p.m.).
