The one-year anniversary of the January 6 insurrection was a day of looking back and remembering not only what took place on Capitol Hill – but also a day of wondering what has transpired since then and what lies ahead for those in Congress.

President Joe Biden's speech focused on the push for holding Trump and others accountable as the priority. Although several arrests have been made, there's still lots of pending legal action on the horizon.

How do we find balance in being angry about what happened on Capitol Hill that day, while trying to think positively about the future government? Our local government leaders who experienced the insurrection first-hand seem to have the answers on where we should focus.

In this episode, local leaders from Congress and in higher education give their recounts and opinions of the insurrection. We also continue updates on COVID, omicron, boosters, and the new Army vaccine.
