Clear Creek Amana schools have three finalists for superintendent. Here's how you can meet them.

Three final candidates in the search for the next superintendent of Clear Creek Amana schools — Brett Bunch, Corey Seymour and Matthew Strom — will participate in question-and-answer sessions moderated by search firm Ray & Associates in the next week.

The sessions are open to the public. They will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and next Monday at the high school performing arts center. The meetings will also be accessible via Zoom.

The permanent administrator for the Clear Creek Amana Community School District will relieve Joseph Brown Sr., who took over as interim in August. He is filling in for Tim Kuehl, who spent eight years with CCA before taking a superintendent position elsewhere in Iowa.

The next superintendent will be tasked with addressing the CCA district's rapidly growing enrollment that, without expansions, is projected to overfill current school buildings. School administrators will take on that challenge alongside a school board that saw two incumbents unseated in 2021, bringing in four new members of the seven total.

The district serves about 2,800 students, 700 more than in 2015. The district enrollment is expected to reach more than 4,000 over the next five years, according to a recent analysis by RSP & Associates.
