Cougar sprinters, hurdlers head to Clemson, field and distance athletes compete at home

HOUSTON – The Houston track and field team will split for two different meets this weekend with half of the team traveling to Clemson to compete in the Tiger Paw Invite and the other half of the team will stay at Houston and compete in the Howie Ryan Invite.

This will be the first meet that the University of Houston track and field team will split for the season. The sprinters and hurdlers will participate in the Tiger Paw Invite hosted by Clemson while the distance team and field athletes will compete in the Howie Ryan Invite at home. The Cougars are coming off a big week after competing in the Charlie Thomas Invite at Texas A&M. Following their performances, Christian Gilmore and Priscilla Adejokun were named American Men's Track and Women's Field Athlete of the Week. 

TICKETS AND PARKING FOR UH TRACK AND FIELD
Tickets for University of Houston home collegiate track meets can be purchased here. Adult tickets are available for $10 and children tickets for $5. Spectator parking can be found in 16B and 16D for $10. Please follow marked signage to find the pedestrian path around the construction to the front of the Athletics & Alumni Center.
