FRISCO, Texas – HBU senior infielder Jake Miller has been chosen as the Southland Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week, as voted on by the sports information directors and released by the league office Tuesday.
 
Miller had multiple hits in all three games against Rutgers, hitting .583 (7-for-12) with a home run, three RBIs and two runs. The Round Rock, Texas, native went 2-for-4 in the opener Friday, then went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run Saturday. He finished the series by going 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBIs and scored a run.

The Huskies will be in action tonight against Baylor at 6:30 p.m. in Waco, before returning home to host Rice Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Husky Field.
