In the afternoon, Wochner used another strong finish to join four others in a tie for seventh. Following a bogey on No. 11, he made eight straight pars before draining birdies on three of his final six holes, including back-to-back efforts on Nos. 2-3 again.

Senior Alexander Frances was tied for 12th at 4-under 140. Starting his day off No. 7 with a birdie in each round, Frances enjoyed five birdies in the morning with only one bogey on the way to a 68.
