Houston Heads to Florida for Two Matches

Cougars look to extend five-match win streak
TAMPA, Fla. – Houston Tennis returns to action this weekend in Florida against conference rival USF on Friday, followed by a matchup against No. 35 FIU on Sunday.
Houston will first travel to Tampa, Florida, at 9:30 a.m. CT Friday to face USF at the USF Varsity Tennis Courts. The match can be streamed here. Houston will then head to Miami at 11 a.m. CT Sunday to face No. 35 FIU at the FIU Tennis Courts.
The Cougars (11-6), winners of five straight, are coming off a successful weekend at home earning victories over Binghamton, McNeese and Tulane.
SCOUTING THE BULLS
Houston Tennis will continue action on the road against Wichita State at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 1 and North Texas at noon on Sunday, April 3. The Cougars will wrap up the regular season against Rice at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 9 at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.

- FIU is in its 10th season under head coach Katarina Petrovic.
- The Panthers are 11-3 on the season.
- In their last matchup, FIU to Yale in a 4-2 decision.
- This will be the first time in program history that the Cougars face the Panthers.
