FIRST TEAM
Nyela Calnek, F, American Heritage-Delray junior: Finished tied for second on the team with 10 goals scored and added five assists for the Stallions (13-2-2) and helped team reach the state finals for a second straight year, where they fell 4-2 to Bishop Moore.
Angelina Coelho, MF, Oxbridge Academy senior: Two-year captain and Florida Southern College signee scored five goals and added two assists for the ThunderWolves; was team’s leading scorer as a freshman through junior years; most proud of scoring a goal 20 seconds into a game in first back from injury.
Cameryn Grissman, D, Benjamin School junior: Lockdown defender helped the Buccaneers reach the state championship game for the first time in school history; also plays lacrosse for the school.
Guilianna Johnston, F, Suncoast senior: Rice University signee was team captain and four-year varsity starter for the Chargers; school record holder for most goals in one season (51); tallied 33 goals and 15 assists this season; finished career with 138 goals, 77 assists; also plays flag football at the school.
Cheyenne Lam, D, American Heritage-Delray senior: Scored 13 goals and added six assists for the state runner-up Stallions; scored in every playoff final since her arrival at the school three years ago; Howard commit said scoring all four goals in winning district final was her career highlight.
Isabella Larriu, F, American Heritage-Delray sophomore: Three-year varsity member was team’s leading scorer with 17 goals, five assists, and helped Stallions to back-to-back state finals; scored in both state championship games.
Hana Lohmann, MF, Glades Day junior: Three-year team captain has played on varsity for six years; was county’s leading scorer (male or female) with 48 goals, 31 assists, and helped Gators win districts for second time in school history.
Mia Mackrey, F, King’s Academy seventh-grader: Had team-leading 15 goals and five assists for the Lions (13-4-4); second-year varsity player had hat tricks against Jupiter Christian and John Carroll; also plays lacrosse.
Logan McGruder, GKP, Benjamin senior: The University of Arizona commit and team captain played 1,179 minutes and allowed just 8 goals (0.543 GAA) and posted 12 shutouts to help the Buccaneers reach the state final for the first time in school history; made 8 saves in first half of state final.
Jayda Simmons, D, Somerset Canyons freshman: Versatile player split time between defense and forward; had 19 goals, 9 assists and was leading freshman scorer in the county; smashed school record for scoring in season (previously was 9 goals).
Avery Thompson, MF, American Heritage-Delray senior: Team captain and Emory College signee scored six goals and 11 assists for the Stallions; “I feel really lucky that I had such an amazing team and an amazing season my senior year.”

Hillary Carney, Benjamin: Guided the Buccaneers (16-2-1) to back-to-back district titles, regional championship, and state final for the first time in school history. “This team, this season has been something special. Our upperclassmen and returning players set the standards and goals in place at the beginning of the season. With half of our roster being 8thand 9th graders the group stepped up the to the challenge.”
