Texas Longhorns Snapshot Profile: No. 7 Keilan Robinson

Going into the 2022 football season, Longhorns Wire will be looking at each scholarship player listed on the Texas roster.

Over the preseason, each profile will cover where the player is from, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for Steve Sarkisian this season.

Next up is speedy running back Keilan Robinson, who transferred to Texas from Alabama in June of 2021. Although he is sitting behind Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson at the position, he continues to showcase that he is a dangerous threat each time he touches the ball and can be used in a variety of ways.

Depth Chart Overview

As mentioned above, Robinson is currently sitting behind Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson on the depth chart. However, he is such a lethal playmaker that he will receive significant playing time and carries regardless. He is a true Swiss Army Knife player that Steve Sarkisian has to get involved in this offense more often, as he averages more than seven yards per carry.
