Buccaneers Land Quality, Depth with OL, DL and a Stud RB

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made up for lost time after trading out of the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft in Las Vegas by adding both talent and depth to their roster. The opened the night with the first pick of the second round and the 33rd overall by adding defensive lineman Logan Hall, from the university of Houston.

So, Who Are These Guys?

Next up with the with the 57th pick it was the offense line that got some help in a big was with Central Michigan star Luke Goedeke, and they closed out a busy Friday night in Las Vegas grabbing a running back Rachaad White, from Arizona State who the Buccaneers selected with the No. 91 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Logan Hall, DE, Houston

HT: 6’6
WT: 278 lbs

Let’s start with Hall who is expected to play an edge rusher position at 6 foot 6 and 275 lbs. he has both length and speed to be an impact player in the NFL. In 2021 Hall started 12 games at defensive tackle … led Cougars with 13.5 tackles for loss … registered 48 tackles and finished second on team with 6.5 sacks … 6.5 sacks ranked tied for second in The American Athletic Conference.

Here are a few other highlights…  he had a blocked kick … produced team‐best and career high eight tackles at Rice (Sept. 11) .. totaled six tackles at USF (Nov. 6) and at UConn (Nov. 27) … produced a tackle for loss in nine of 12 games including a season best 3.0 for 16 yards at Tulane (Oct. 7) … registered a sack in seven different games including 2.0 at Tulane (Oct. 7) and 2.0 at UConn (Nov. 27)

Luke Goedeke, OL, Central Michigan

HT: 6’5
WT: 320

Next up is offensive lineman 6 foot 5 and 310 lbs. Luke Goedeke who was a stud at Central Michigan. 2021: Appeared in 10 games, all of them starts, at right tackle … named All-MAC First Team … named First Team All-MAC by Pro Football Focus and played in Reese’s Senior Bowl … made 24 career starts.

2020: Missed the season due to injury. 2019: Started all 14 games at right tackle … earned Academic All-MAC honors. 2018: Redshirted … did not see game action.

Rachaad White, RB, Arizona St.

HT: 6’0
WT: 214 lbs

Last but not least Arizona State running back Rachaad White, who the Buccaneers selected with the No. 91 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft closed out the evening. White received second-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2021 and led the Sun Devils with 1,000 rushing yards, 43 catches and 16 total touchdowns.

The 6-0 214-pound back is said to be one of the best running backs in the 2022 Draft class. During his first season with the Arizona State Sun Devils, White led the FBS with 10 yards per carry recording 42 carries for 420 yards in four games. White participated in the NFL Scouting Combine recording a 4.48 40-yard dash and 38″ vertical jump.
