Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region was hit with heavy round of snow Saturday, May 21, 2022, that was too heavy for many tree limbs. Several parts of the region had more than a foot of snow by Saturday morning.

The Centennial State received a late-season snowstorm that began Friday and dropped wet, heavy snow into Saturday. Here are 24-hour snow totals from across the state as of 6 p.m. Saturday according to the National Weather Service snowfall reports.
