METRO ATLANTA  Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) contractors will install lane closures on SR 42/US 23/Moreland Avenue this weekend to continue a resurfacing project from Key Street to Wade Street in Fulton County. This resurfacing project will repair and improve the condition of the deteriorating roadway and produce a smoother ride for drivers.

Weather and on-site conditions permitting, one alternating right or left lane will be closed on Moreland Avenue northbound and/or southbound between Key Street and Wade Street each Friday evening from 7 p.m. July 15  to 7 a.m. the following Saturday morning, July 16.

This $2.8 million project is scheduled for completion in late summer 2022.
