Good afternoon valued stakeholder, 

You are invited to attend a public meeting for the Streetcar East Extension project, hosted by MARTA, and in partnership with the City of Atlanta and Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. The meeting will provide the public with an update on the project and the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session with the project team. There are two meeting options. 
In-Person Public Meeting 
Monday, September 12 • 6:00 p.m.

Limited capacity and face masks are required by the venue. This venue is a short walk from the BeltLine Eastside Trail, MARTA Bus Route #809, and the Atlanta Streetcar’s King Historic District station. Parking is available in the lot across the street.
Virtual Public Meeting 
Tuesday, September 13 • 6:00 p.m.
Location: Zoom

The Streetcar East Extension project is the first extension of the existing downtown Streetcar, which originally opened in late 2014. It will deliver transit service from Jackson Street at Edgewood Avenue to the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Corridor from Irwin Street to Ponce de Leon Avenue. We have also included a Partner Toolkit with information regarding the upcoming public meetings that you can share with your constituents and communities. The toolkit is a resource, so feel free to copy and paste any of the information across your own social media channels, newsletters, and communication platforms.
