At the invitation of China’s FutureSpace corporation, I was pleased to present the Greater Earth Lunar Power Station (GE⊕-LPS) at the MYLAKE Aerospace Information Industry International Ecosystem Event in Chongqing, China on November 21, 2023. The theme of the event was ‘One Starry Sky, One Shared Future’. This  event attracted over 1,000 participants, including representatives from industry chains, domestic and international institutions, and government agencies, all converging to advance the aerospace information sector.

Opening day addresses included presentations by representatives of the International Astronautical Federation and the International Academy of Astronautics. Olivier Contant, academician and Executive Director of the International Academy of Astronautics, said: “openness, trust, and tolerance are necessary for any successful cooperation, and this is also true in the aerospace information industry.”  He thinks that humankind can reach unprecedented heights in international exchanges through high-level cooperation.

Two major initiatives were launched during the event. The International Ecological Alliance for the Aerospace Information Industry was established to foster internationalization and market-driven approaches. The event also marked the debut of the nation’s first aerospace information industry community. A groundbreaking aerospace information industry fund group with an impressive scale of 100 billion yuan was unveiled.

The event also saw the signing of 19 companies as the first members of the new aerospace information industry community. Prominent names such as LandSpace and China Siwei were among the signatories, marking a significant milestone in the development of this industry.

After the event, I had the honor to meet Professor and Academician Daun Baoyan at Xidian University and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He is the co-author of China’s SSPS-OMEGA space solar power  concept and one of the leaders of the Zhuri (Chasing the Sun) Wireless Power Transmission project seen in the video below.
